Usage Data

We collect information about the papers you submit for podcast generation, including arXiv URLs and generated content. This data is used to provide the service and improve its quality.

Crash Reports and Analytics

Our mobile applications collect crash reports and anonymized usage information. This data helps us identify and fix issues, and understand how users interact with the app. All usage data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify individual users. We use this information solely to improve the application.

  • Database — Account and job metadata stored in Cloudflare D1
  • Audio Files — Generated podcasts stored in Cloudflare R2
  • Authentication — Handled via GitHub OAuth

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to provide Strollcast:

  • GitHub — For authentication
  • Anthropic Claude — For generating podcast scripts from papers
  • ElevenLabs — For text-to-speech audio generation
  • Cloudflare — For hosting, storage, and content delivery
  • Firebase (Google) — For crash reporting and anonymized analytics in our mobile apps

Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with third-party services as necessary to provide the Strollcast service (as described above).

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and generated podcasts indefinitely to provide the service. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.
